Super session of Sainik Colony Board welcomed
8/19/2012 9:57:33 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 19 : Capt. Anil Gour, President & members of JK Peoples Democratic Ex-Servicemen Wing, (JKPDESW) welcomed the appointment of an Administrator Udham Das, Dy. Registrar, Co-Operative Society (Agriculture) to immediately take over the working of the Sainik Colony & the supersession of the unconstitutional & non-elected Board of The Sainik Colony House Building Society Ltd, Jammu today. JKPDESW had already highlighted the unconstitutional manner of functioning & various misdeeds of the Board before the Registrar Co-Operative Societies & had been pursuing the matter of large scale bungling in the allotment & sale of plots & also financial misappropriations by the superseded board. The periodic orders of the Registrar were being thwarted by the Board members by taking stay orders from various forums & tried to keep extending their unlawful & unconstitutional tenure permanently. The superseded Board also had hurriedly held an illegal AGM recently just to cover up all their misdeeds & pass fictitious accounts so that they could keep functioning with impunity least bothered about the interests of the shareholders of the colony.
The Ex-Servicemen fraternity of J&K & Sainik Colony are grateful to the Registrar Co-Operative Societies for taking cognizance of the unconstitutional functioning of the Board & appointing a man of integrity to look after the affairs of the Sainik Colony & expressed to extend their full cooperation to him so that a cleanup operation can be undertaken & all the misdeeds of the superseded Board be exposed. JKPDESW appealed to all the members of the Sainik Colony House Building Society to come before the Administrator & state out all the misdeeds of the superseded board so that the due process of law can take its logical course.
