Mehraj-ud-din's arrest exposes ISI
9/15/2012 12:03:43 AM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 14: The arrest of Mehraj-ud-din has revealed the deep neck involvement of Pakistan and more so ISI in fomenting terrorism in India and taking it out of the J&K.
Mehraj-ud-din had his ideological grooming from Sayeed Salahuddin and other in the Central jail.
He was spotted ISI person in PoK terrorists camp and from there onwards he was used by this notorious intelligence agencies.
He was provided fake Pakistani passport and provided fake papers of being a citizen of Pakistan.
Mehraj-ud-din in his stay at Delhi helped in distributing money to terrorists and separatists in India which he received from his handlers in Pakistan.
ISI routed this money by notorious D-Company which had been active after the Mumbai blast.
Such was the network established by ISI that they were assigned code-words and once the code-word was reciprocated by fellow agent only then the delivery would be given.
Even Mehraj-ud-din would have to give his code-word. ISI provided money through D-Company for his stay in Delhi even in post localities like Vasant Vihar.
It was here that he received the consignment of giving money to terrorists for carrying out bomb blasts in Lajpat Nagar.
The money was given to four people.
After completing his task here he was called back by the ISI and latter send to Nepal with the bigger plan and bigger strike which would shake the India.
He was asked to coordinate with Arshad Cheema whose links with ISI were well established and for which he was removed from the Nepal and arrested also.
The ISI asked D-Company to provide huge funds to Cheema who used it to cultivate sources and used them for gaining access to airport.
He would often taken Mehraj-ud-din inside the airport and thereby did recee on his own and then allowed other terrorists including the hijackers to get easy entry in the airport from where the plan was hijacked.
Both Cheema and Mehraj-ud-din were handsomely awarded by ISI.
